Fairtrade is 25 this October. Here in Yorkshire we’re celebrating by making our mark.
Around 150 Volunteers and Fairtrade supporters are amassing in Hull’s beautiful Trinity Square to create the Fairtrade mark in a giant human mosaic.
Volunteers will be dressed in the three colours of the Fairtrade mark – black, green and blue.
There will be a fair trade market in Trinity Market Hall from 10-4 and craft workshops for children all afternoon.
We’ll be there from 11.30 with the mark being made, filmed and photographed from 12 to 12.30.
If you’d like to join us please contact the Co-ordinator of Fairtrade Yorkshire Joanna Pollard by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Alternatively if you have a black T shirt with the Fairtrade logo, and a black hat, you can turn up on the day by 11.45am.
